Our Physical Office is Closed until May 1, 2020.

Physical Office Closure Notice

In light of the COVID-19 crisis, I have made the decision to close our physical office until May 1, 2020.

We will accept in-person document drop-offs on Monday, March 23 between 9am and 4pm. This will be last day for in-person drop offs until May 1.

We will still be working from home, though, so if you have already left your documents with us, drop them off on Monday, deliver them to us by mail, or deliver them electronically, we are continuing to complete tax returns! We are working diligently to get every tax return filed.

All tax returns and signature requests will be delivered electronically.

We will return physical documents to you after May 1, but if you require a copy of anything you have provided to us, please let us know, because we are able to send you copies of all of your tax documents.

The IRS has extended both the filing deadline and payment deadline to July 15, 2020.

The Kansas Department of Revenue has been silent on this issue, so we continue to work on a deadline of April 15, 2020 for Kansas tax payments. If you are unable to get us your tax documents by April 15, we can help you estimate you Kansas (or other state) tax liability so that you can make a payment. We counsel you to wait until April 15 to make any such payment, since we anticipate that many state tax agencies will announce that they are following the Federal deadline.

Please follow us on Facebook – we will be posting important updates and information about deadlines, emergency tax law changes, stimulus packages, unemployment updates, and the Emergency Family and Medical Leave Expansion Act.

We will continue to have access to our office phone number, so please do not hesitate to call us with questions, or to schedule a phone call for tax consultation. Our phone number is 785-414-9452.

We know that this is inconvenient, and we thank you for your understanding and flexibility in this uncertain and unpredictable time. Our priority is to keep all of our staff and clients safe and healthy.
Best wishes,

COVID-19

Our Response to COVID-19 - 3/15/19

We here at Stonecreek Accounting LLC have a wide variety of clients, including clients who are world travelers, and other clients who are elderly or at risk in other ways.  In order to help stopping the spread of COVID-19, we are taking the following steps.

·        We are minimizing face to face contact with our clients.  If we have an in person meeting scheduled on the calendar, we are reaching out to change it to a phone interview.

·        We are requesting our clients deliver their documents to us electronically, via email or a secure server.

We know not all our clients have access to scanners, so we can still accept physical documents, but we are requesting that our clients who drop off or pick up their documents assist us in minimizing our time of physical contact

We appreciate everyone’s patience in these concerning times.
